For the convenience of excavators, Wichita Water Utilities provides an Online Locate Request Service that allows electronic requests for utility location information. By selecting the “Submit” button at the end of the locate request form page, excavators agree to the following Conditions of Use and Terms of Service.
I agree on behalf of myself and/or my company to release and forever discharge, Wichita Water Utilities and any of its officers, agents, employees, successors and assigns of and from all claims, demands, damages, actions, causes of action of suits of law or in equity, of whatsoever kind or nature, for or because of any requests, reports or other information that Wichita Water Utilities attempts to transmit to me through the use of email over the internet.
I acknowledge that Wichita Water Utilities has no control over third party telecommunications networks, servers or the Internet and delays and disruptions of other transmissions over such networks are completely beyond the control of Wichita Water Utilities. I understand and agree that Wichita Water Utilities does not guarantee the availability or reliability of such telecommunications networks providing the Online Locate Service.
I acknowledge that my access to the Wichita Water Utilities Online Locate Service is at my sole risk and agree that the service and information provided are without warranty of any kind by Wichita Water Utilities.
I agree that under no circumstances, including negligence, will Wichita Water Utilities or any of its officers, agents, or employees, be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages that result from my use or my inability to use the Online Locate Services. I acknowledge that this limitation applies to all content information or other services available through Wichita Water Utilities, and whether or not Wichita Water Utilities has notice of the possibility of such damages and whether or not circumstances giving rise to such damages may have been within the control of Wichita Water Utilities.
I agree that the Online Locate Service and all of the content of this site and the information I receive from the Wichita Water Utilities is the property of Wichita Water Utilities. I may not reproduce, transmit, disseminate, sell, distribute, publish, broadcast, circulate or commercially exploit the form, the content or the information in any manner without the express written consent of Wichita Water Utilities.
The use of the Wichita Water Utilities Online Locate Request service and the conditions of Wichita Water Utilities Line Locates shall be governed by the laws of the State of Kansas.
The Online Locate Services provided by Wichita Water Utilities are based upon information you provide. By accepting the Terms of Service you agree to (a) download, read and follow all of the instructions for entering information into the Line Locate Request form, (b) provide accurate, complete and current information when prompted during the process, and (c) to insure accurate, complete and current data.
Emergency, Priority, or Non-Response requests or any request that involves explosives shall be made through the Wichita Water Utilities Line Locate Desk by telephone at (316) 268-4260.
